The concept of the pod rooms was intriguing and provided a unique experience. The pool and bar area had a great vibe and were perfect for relaxing.
The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired. The sheets were dirty and there were stains on the walls.

Our stay at Eighty8 was fantastic! We got great value for our money with a spacious and airy room, and the staff were warm, friendly, and accommodating. The location was convenient, with plenty of restaurants and the water within walking distance, and the tuktuk driver outside the hostel was always ready to take us anywhere for a reasonable price. Definitely a place with a good vibe and great atmosphere!
The morning meal could be improved with a wider variety of options.

The Eighty8 in Phnom Penh is a centrally located hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with air-conditioning and even a balcony in some rooms. The hotel restaurant offers delicious Khmer and western style food at reasonable prices. The bar has a cool and relaxed atmosphere, with a great choice of cocktails at reasonable prices. The swimming pool is a nice bonus, especially for a centrally located hotel in Phnom Penh. Suitable for both backpackers and families.
Nothing at all.

Had a great experience staying at the Eighty8. The pods were spacious, with storage underneath which was really handy. The air conditioning and fans in the pod kept me cool throughout the night. The main charging port and USB ports were convenient for charging devices. The location was good, close to a bus service and near the Japanese hospital. The 24-hour reception and free water refill were also a plus. I had a comfortable and budget-friendly stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Eighty8 in Phnom Penh. the hostel was a great spot to relax, with friendly staff who were always willing to help. Nuts & Sothear in particular provided excellent assistance and had a wealth of local knowledge. the facilities were clean, the rooms were spacious and air-conditioned, and there were large lockers available for our backpacks. the free Wi-Fi was a bonus, and we also enjoyed the good food and friendly bartenders. the hostel's location was ideal, close to the bus station and within easy reach of the central market, riverfront, and the giant ibis office.
Our experience was memorable and we highly recommend Eighty8. Cons: Nothing could have been better.
